It Is Possible To Become A Video Game Tester
Up until recently, I didn’t even think that this job role existed, as it sounds like a teenage boys dream. However, recently I was reading an excellent blog put together by a professional video game tester which explains in detail about the job role and recruitment process. It does seem like a very difficult job to get started in simply because so many people want to become games testers however he managed to get in without any prior experience.
According to Dan, the pay is actually quite low, but it is a great way to get your foot in the door of the industry. That’s what really attracts me about it – the idea that it could lead to something else like games design or marketing.
